Victorian corset size 36 is made of white satin, with ivory voile decorated with gold sequins around the edges to form light and airy straps.

The lining is made of thick cotton and the interlining (the fabric against the skin) is made of classic white cotton. Mid-range quality.

Strength is guaranteed by the use of spiral and straight steel boning.

Hand-sewn white satin bias binding finish.

Closes with gold lacing at the back, underneath which is a modesty panel for added comfort.

The skirt is mermaid-shaped, with a white satin base. Below the knees, it is made of white voile, with a satin petticoat underneath and a hoop to give it shape. The voile from the corset falls over the skirt to cover the bottom, with more sequins at the bottom. The whole thing fastens with an invisible zip sewn by hand on the side. Cleaning must be done very delicately and by hand to avoid removing the sequins.
