Victorian corset in light turquoise blue taffeta, decorated on the front with fine white guipure lace with a floral motif, hand-sewn and embellished with pearls. A large hand-sewn pearl flower also echoes the guipure lace motif. Fine white lace decorates the back of the corset.

The lining is made of thick cotton and the interlining (the fabric against the skin) is made of classic blue cotton and blue satin.

Strength is guaranteed by the use of spiral and straight steel boning.

Hand-sewn white satin bias binding finish.

Closes with lacing at the back, under which a modesty panel is included for added comfort.

The mid-length skirt is made of turquoise blue cotton, loose-fitting, with a steel hoop stiffening the bottom. It is covered with ash blue and white tulle handkerchiefs, as well as a row of white veil handkerchiefs at the very bottom, all hand-sewn.
